ECG is engaged in the research, development, production and sale of utilitarian
building materials and consumer products from recycled container, industrial
waste and construction/demolition waste glass. In addition, ECG markets a glass
recycling system that cleans and crushes glass to 99.9% purity and a variable
size (patent pending).
Formed in 2001, ECG is a North Carolina Chapter C Corporation and a member
of the US Green Building Council. The company is a certified North Carolina
Qualified Business Venture and as such investors are eligible for tax credits
in accordance with that program. Investors may also be qualified for certain
federal
tax incentives. The company corporate and patent attorneys are Womble, Carlyle,
Sandridge and Rice LLC and company auditors are Hallowell & Associates.
In 2002, the company conducted a stock offering and constructed a 16,000 square
foot facility in Pasquotank County, NC. This facility began commercial operations
in May of 2004 and is currently engaged in providing glass recycling services
for the region, production and sale of products, and R&D operations. In
2003 the company received a $20,000 grant from the North Carolina Department
of Environment & Natural Resources for development of a recycled glass precast
process.
Company stock profile is 1,000,000 shares of common stock with no preferred
stock. The original offering of 2002 stock price was $2.50 per share. The 2005
stock offering price was $7.50 per share. The 2006 offering price is $8.50 per
share.
Currently the Company is conducting a $1,530,000 offering of 180,000 shares representing 18% of the company ownership in units of 1,000 shares @ $8.50 per share. Proceeds from this offering will be used to open second facility in Lexington, North Carolina and initiate expansion to a third facility in Tampa, Florida.
